She is currently the head of the laboratory of social gerontology and the director of the Center for Additional Vocational Education of the Institute of Gerontology. D.F. Chebotaryov National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, a professor at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, an expert of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the National Health Insurance Fund, a honorary professor of KazNMU.

She is active as a member of the Presidium of the Scientific Society of Gerontologists and Geriatricians of Ukraine, is also the current President of the Association for the Elderly and Disabled of Kyiv, Deputy Chairman of the League for the Development of Palliative Care in Ukraine and a member of the Presidium of the Veterans Organization of Ukraine.

In 2010 she completed an internship at the Hospice Institute of Hospice in San Diego (USA). Participated in the preparation of the program and teaching of the first in Ukraine American-Ukrainian training courses for palliative care nurses (care for terminally ill). In 1977 she graduated from the Kyiv Medical Institute with a degree in epidemiology, social medicine and psychotherapy.
